The Sampling Technician works as part of a collaborative team following procedures already in place to sample all materials that are used to manufacture and package products at the facility. The Sampling Technician demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, and proper procedures while assisting and supporting the laboratory and production needs. The Sampling Technician will be required to record data in documentation with accurate and legible entries following cGMP.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Reads, comprehends, and abides by SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).
· Move materials from Receiving to Sampling Room.
· Samples raw materials and packaging for quality control testing.
· Maintains cleanliness by picking up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing and distributing.
· Keeps sampling supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
· Keeps equipment functional by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining equipment and supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
· Documents information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books. Ensures data is properly and accurately recorded in logbooks in accordance with guidelines. Develops and maintains effective organization and time management through use of effective record keeping.
· Maintains the Stability Program samples and related documentation.
· Inspects annual retain samples at the appropriate time intervals.
· Meets safety requirements in accomplishing responsibilities of this position in compliance with all policies or regulations.
· Collaborates with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to ensure that the results of their activities meet the corporate and regulatory standards and expectations.
· Supports the rudimentary QC Lab activities as needed.
· All other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
· At least two years of experience working in a similar cGMP industry.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage job duties.
· Scissor Lift Certification will be required (and provided).
Language Ability:
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
Mathematical Ability:
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and email.
